3 Principles Used
Squash and Stretch
Squash and Stretch is used throughout the animation. It is used anytime a ball is bouncing around, or it is used to set up the anticipation talked about below. On the right is the best example of this in the animation, in particular, the yellow ball bouncing off the wall of the rightmost house shows both a vertical and horizontal use of this technique.
Anticipation
Anticipation is used for when the balls are actively "deciding" to jump. This happens right out the gates of the animation, and in the middle when the yellow ball jumps across the street, and at the end once the balls jump into the chapel.

Staging
Staging was something I found necessary for this animation at a few stages. Once the doors drop to let the yellow ball out, it brings the center of attention from the "couple" to the yellow ball, and it is once again used at the end once the doors form to make a literaly arrow to point at the "couple ball" after the actions of the yellow ball.
